Please Explain me A level Maths Structure

In the booklet provided by cie it says tht As student take P1 plus P2 or P4 or P6 whereas most As student take P1 and P3,,, very confusing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P1 and P2 are pure maths..whichare compulsory for the last 2 papers..there's a choice..you can either go for Mechanics 1 and Mechanics 2..or Prob and Stats 1 and Prob and Stats 2..or Mechanics 1 and Prob and Stats 1

Stats is the easiest . Mechanics is hard .

Nah if u took Add maths and physics Mechanics is bachkana particularly M1

I have recently completed A levels, heres the detail:
There are seven papers in total:

p1 - p7
p1, p2 , p3 are called pure maths
p4 and p5 are called m1 and m2 respectively (mechanics)
p6 and p7 are called s1 and s2 respectively (statistics)

Normally, people give (p1 and m1) in AS and then (p3 and s1) in A2

Some give (p1 and s1) in AS and (p3 and m1) in A2

there are many possible choices though, depending on your future field of study...

I have rarely seen anyone taking p2 , m2


P1 is very easy if you have taken Add maths
S1 is also simple

M1 is easy if you also have physics

P3 is the real deal, its quite tough!
