Thank you in advance. I really love Math, but I suck at this kind of question.

sketch a line from B to A .... calculate its length i.e square root 72 ........it makes a sector ABD so s=rx (x= angle in radians)

now for area......calculate the area of sector 1/2 r(sqaure)x and then calculate the are of triangle 0.5 x6x6 .....
subtract the area of triangle from area of sector!
