plane p has equation of (r-3i).(2i-3j+6k)=0
what's dis???? i dun know how to change the form into ax+by+cz=d
to help ur understand.... it's in the pure3 oct/nov 2007 question 10.(i)
i dun understand even i looked up the mark scheme and text book ;((((
so PLZ HELP ME!!!!!

well this simply means that the general point of the plane is actually 3i less than the calculated value of X
for example if x comes out to be 5 then the actual general point is 2. i hope you got this.

to solve this ques, just put the value of r from line, into r of the plane. simplify, n u have the value of s. n hence OA!
