The function f : x  → 4 − 3 sin x is defined for the domain 0 ≤ x ≤ 2p.

iii) Find the set of values of k for which the equation f(x) = k has no solution.

i found that k=1and 7 buy using max and min value of sinx that is 1 and -1,but answer is k<1 k>7

should be

4-3sinx=k
sinx=(4-k)/3
since has no solution,

(4-k)/3 >1 and (4-k)/3<-1 then u should get the correct answer..

max value gives 1 and minimun value gives 7....now take a look at the question again.....1 and 7 are the answers when we use 0 and 2p,....so the answer for which it has no solution is less than 1 and more than 7!!
