Retake AS in 2016?? (OLD SYLLABUS)

Is it possible to retake AS in May/June 2016, with the old syllabus? I'm currently doing AS this Oct/Nov and is considering to retake them if necessary, alongside with my A2s. I've searched in google, and everyone in studentroom website says that it's possible. Yet, my neighboring school which took AS in May 2015 is doing their A2 with new syllabus?? What the heck? Can someone shed a light on this?? Thanks

Well I gave AS in summer 2015 and I'm going to give A2 in summer 2016
I have to do the new syllabus for A2 even if I did old syllabus for AS
So as far as I know CIE has changed the syllabus for 2016 onwards and you have to give the new syllabus but you can ask your school
Just focus on your exams right now and I'm sure you won't need to re-take!
