I am really struggling with identifying errors in the Grammar section.
Can someone suggest a comprehensive book with examples of the common errors and lots of exercises ?

^ You okay, bro?

There is no grammar in CR section of SAT.
There are some basic rules of grammar that you have to know in order to identify errors. The other two types of questions in the CR section focus more on vocabulary and reading skills, but error ID's ARE solely based on BASIC grammar rules. :)

Refer to the Princeton Review book, it has explanatory tips on how to tackle error ID's, along with a handful of practice questions and their answers' explanations.
