Should I send my paper for re-checking?

Okay so I got an A in urdu and I am happy for it, but I was thinking of repeating the subject to try for an A*, or send it for re-checking...
I'm happy with the great but a friend of mine said that it's hard to get admissions without all A*s so is it true?
