Most great American universities say its nice if someone did a foreign language course before applying. Does that mean that it's necessary for someone - if they are living in Pakistan - to do Urdu As a Second Language at the GCE O Level and AS Level or can one not take these subjects and still have a shot of getting in to American universities?
