In mitosis , in between early prophase and late prophase we can see that 1chromatid becomes 2 chromatids. The only way of making 1 chromatid become 2 chromatids is by DNA replication. BUT we all know that DNA replication takes place BEFORE mitosis.NOT in between early prophase and late prophase. So how does it magically change from 1 chromatid to 2 chromatids without DNA replication??
