Urgent help needed for English as a second language!

I have my English O'level exam tommorow. I really need help in excercize 4, note making. Can anyone please tell me a list of things that I should avoid and I should Include while doing notemaking?
For example , we should WRITE prepositions and we should AVOID articles. Then what else?
