Will tracing paper be allowed in maths paper if not how will we solve symmetry question?

Back when I had my O levels exam I was taking tracing paper with me along with my stationary and the invigilator asked me not to. She said that we will be provided with it if it is needed. Turns out the paper didn't have any question that required tracing paper.So to be on the safe side you can take it with you but confirm with the invigilator before entering the examination room. If she says you don't have to take it in then leave it outside.
