C1 may 2012 paper discussion

How was the paper peepz? The first 6 questions were all dy/dx and all simple stuff..
Question 7 was sequences where most of the people got stuck in my centre. Even question 8 and 9 :/
So how was it for evryone else?? :S

edexcel doesnt have thresholds as such?
if you get 80% + in the module you get an A.

Question 9 was actually very nice.
You only had to draw a graph to help you.

Area of Quadrilateral:
(4√5 * 9√5/2) / 2
= 45

*Note:
4√5 = √80

for YOU to get an A in c1 you need 60/75.

m was 35 we had to factorise the equation, which they gave in the first part to prove.
the other value of m was -36 which we dont consider

i saw some grade boundaries for edexcel , some c1's has 62 ,55,58,59. it all depends on how the paper was
