Yeah, if your answer is wrong you may still get marks depending on your steps.
Similarly, if your answer is right but not enough working is shown, marks may be deducted.

depending on how many steps you showed, and how well you did them.

thats why you try all sums even if you dont know how to do them, cause they end up giving you marks for trying as well.
