Can anyone help me, I am a private candidate in the uk and was wondering if cie a level is like edexcel a level in that to get an a* in maths, do you need 90 ONLY in your A2 modules?

Ya I know! But I'm saying the first part of the same question.. Unit vector if AB, so do u know if it's wrong if u write an unit vector as +-(1/magnitude)?

the answer is vector AB/magnitude of AB (3i - 2j +6k )*1/7

was the value of theta 1.2pi and the area of paper needed 188?

in q2 fig 1 circumference(2*pi*6) was equal to the length of the arc in fig2 (theta 10) 10= (8^2 + 6^2 )^1/2 theta = 6/5 *pi

area required is 1/2 (6/5) pi (10)^2 = 60 pi

and the volume generated was 851.9999 852-(3 sig figures)

the thing is that the paper was not that easy, so the threshold will be probably low Inshallah, there were alot of tricky things there
