Is your AS grade still valid after completing A Level? Like can you choose to use the AS grade from the subject instead of the A Level grade for entering university.

Not really. Depends on the country, I guess.

Some universities require 4 AS and 5 IGCSEs. Some only require 2 A levels, even though you get ungraded in one.

Im not guessing here, im basing it on personal experiences. My friend got into a university with 2 passes, and one ungraded.

Well there is a difference bettwen getting into uni and getting the points u require to get into a course.
Like here in New Zealand u can get into uni just by getting a D in IGCSE maths and E in A2 english. But this does not mean ull get into like any good courses getting just D in maths and E in english.
