Getting a distinction certificate in GCE Ordinary Level

I have read that you have to take certain subjects and get a grade of A and/or above to get a certificate of distinction.
My current subjects are:

Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Mathematics
Pakistan Studies
Urdu Second Language
Islamiyat
English

Are these enough or do I need more subjects?

pak studies, islamiyat and urdu are useless subs. Take at least 2 extra.

Ummm. Distinction has nothing to do with the # of subjects. Individual subjects are assessed. If you take Math only and score 100%, they WILL give you a distinction for it.
