2+3/x =7/x^1/2
(2x +3)/x = 7/x^1/2
squarin both sides
(4x^2 +12x +9)/x^2 = 49/x
(4x^2 +12x +9)/x = 49
4x^2 +12x +9 = 49x
4x^2-37x +9 =0
(4x-1)(x-9)= 0
x =1/4 or x = 9
