    P(445-c<X<445+c)=0.94(i think mean was 445 and s.d was 3.6 or 3.61 i think) P(445-c-445/3.61<Z<445+c-445/r)=.94 P(-c/3.61<Z<c/3.61)=.94 2P(Z<C/3.61)-1=.94 P(Z<C/3.61)=(1+.94)/2 P(Z<C/3.61)=.97 c/3.61=1.881 so c=6.79

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

abt the Greengage one not 100% sure but its like this *R*E*E*N(GG)A*E* if you consider both g's as 1 then there is 7 letters and the starts as places where the g's can be then there are 7 slots since in one slot the 3rd g will be placed in the other gg's got 6 slots so its 7!*6/3!(for the eees)

A level Statistics doubt??Post your doubts here!

profits can be eitehr -(24*20) or (450*10-24*200 which are -480 or 4020 its -480 if more than 1 firework fails to work since they get no revenue and only have the cost. From the prev question you found out the prob for failure of more than 1 firework to be 0.264 its 4020 profit when less than 1...

A level Statistics doubt??Post your doubts here!

as far as i know the first can be any colour so its prob is 1 and the one after that cant be the same colour so it will be 2/3 followed by 2/3 until the rest 7 slots are filled....as a result the ans is (2/3)^7
