    what do you think if you can get As in P1, P3 and S1 but in M1, you get a C? do you think it can score A*?

    but at the foremost, it isn't concerning on the usage of pen or pencils but all that matter is your HANDWRITINGS. even though you're using pen all over but if it is not readable, they'll penalise that for sure. hope that my answers aren't too long :)

    it depends on the subjects.. for maths, it's on separate booklet right? so i think we can use pencils even for the working because i think the examiners don't scan them i.e they correct them traditionally, i did my workings for my p6 last year with pencils but i wrote my final answer in pen and...

    so do i.. yep2, when you did add the mass for both carbon and hydrogen, you shud get exactly like what it provides in early part i.e the mass of the hydrocarbon.. but i stucked when it asked for the moles :( for B, yes, i got that too :)

    the paper was quite pleasing compared to past years ones.. i too always did some careless mistakes but i think it should be okay :) that's alright, be positive. i too wasn't really sure with the calculations. usually, the threshold for paper was about 46-48 so i think you should get an A ameen

    can anyone give me a better understanding on P1 frequently asked questions about angle between 2 gradients? with formula tan x = |m1-m2 / 1 + m1m2|? i can't find any statement on syllabus regarding this one. thanks a lot :)

    yep2, i thought it was going to be hard since our centre wasn't really focused on practicals, but it turned out to be.. errmmm.. i don't really sure whether whatever i wrote in it is correct or not :S
