    chem p12...hmm that was a tough one !!!

    I think that it was neither too easy, nor too tough..but the repeating questions, there were like 9 of them! So the threshold should be something around 29-31..mmmm

    Math P62

    The answer comes 11/12 as mentioned above because the question said that not ALL can be together. I confirmed with my mathematics teacher just to be sure.

    Math P62

    I think that the gt will be about 42-43 as it was an easy paper but a bit confusing.

    guesses about tomorw's paper stats???????

    P1, P3, P4, very easy papers, with many repeats from past papers P6: should be difficult, realizing the ways in which Cambridge knows how to torture us students. :) Best of luck everyone!

    S1 question

    1) 5P4x5!=14400 ways 2) For driver: 3C1, rest: 5!, so, n=5!x3C1=360 ways. :)

    Chem 42 was damn difficult

    This was quite a confusing paper. And deciding the threshold is not going to work guys. You can never be sure of Cambridge, as well as other candidates who gave the examination. :) But I was lucky to see a question which I had guessed would come...that too for an overwhelming 9 MARKS!! :p

    I think the solutions were in the order S2, S4, S3, S1 You could have written temperature, length of the tissues being used, part of the plant where the tissue came from, and same water potential. Temperature: by use of thermostatically controlled water bath, and water potential: soaking all...

    permutation queston

    For the first part, the answer is simply 6!=720 ways For the second part, you work out as follows: number of ways in which alice and bob may be together= 5!x2!=240 number of ways in which they wont be together= 720-240=480 ways thats simple as that :)

    Answers for Maths P32

    P1, M1, and P3 were the easiest papers in the history of CIE mathematics, with repeated questions in all papers. The threshold should be high for all papers, looking at the paper difficulty level. If anyone has looked closely, the angle between planes question in P3 was a repeat while the coef...
