    Have you already made up your mind? There is a lot of emphasis on rote learning. For some people that can turn into a nightmare. Also, you would have to study for 7-8 subjects as opposed to 3 or 4 if you were to do your A levels. You might want to reconsider.

    I could never understand people's obsession with notes. Your textbooks are far superior in quality than any notes out there. As already pointed out by someone sensible here, read your textbooks and practice question from the past papers.

    Get yourself one of those revision guides. I remember using the ones by Letts. Can't place enough emphasis on periodically testing yourself on actual exam questions.

    You can ace just about any subject given the right amount of practice. As others above have pointed out, practicing questions that students have been examined on in earlier years is key to scoring an A grade.
