who is Muslim? Is it a name or?

no.. not stupid...Sahih muslim is one of the most authentic books of ahadith (sayings n conduct of the prophet S.A.W)... was writen by Imam muslim... so yeah.. its a name..

After Quran most authentic book is Bukhari of hadith and then Sahih of imam muslim..

u kno wht I love is the every hadith has 2 parts.. the matn(text) and isnaad(chain of narrations).. we are certain of authenticity of this statement frm prophet coz of the isnaad.. every person b/w us n prophet S.A.W we know abt.. their trustworthiness n everything.. it's a science..

it was a bit long.. but the guy has ijazaaz/liscences... in hadith.. for me it was fun to learn how mush effort is put into preserving the truth.. wish I was like him.. *_*

So what is that licence? Like to narrate Hadith?
yeah...preserving holy sayings is hard for real.
Maybe one day you will be so

he can teach and narrate them.. like he has studied under scholars and each gave him a licence, with scholar's name n the list of teachers of scholar.... that goes up to imam bukhari.. in imam bukhari's book(sahih bukhari), each hadith has chain of narrators telling how it was transmitted from prophet S.A.W to him...
and explainations of ahadith are long.. like multiple vol shrah are there explaining sahih bukhari...

Oh..now I get it. In the Hadith...the name written in the end in brackets is the person who narrated it??
