  • alhamdulillah, its amazing feeling when u are thinking something but are unsure if you should say it and ur best frnd says that thing u had in heart... and u are like wow he can read me! :)
Your new xpc is still boring. Hire new monkeys for entertainment. :p
Ppl want to think within the system, real thinking is to not be bound by the system, but to challenge the system.. think and question everything.. that's what Ibrahim a.s did, he saw his father worshiping idols, he thinks differently (intellectual courage) and thinks why? when they don't benefit.. and had the moral courage to tell others and teach them his argument.. to challenge them.. Allah s.w.t wants us to think.
[This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah when he cried out to his Lord privately, He said, "My Lord, indeed my

[He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name."
    Quran (19:2-7)
notice, how even when he wants something seemingly impossible, he makes a sincere dua/supplication, noting how he has never been unhappy making dua.. and later when he gets the good news, he is in salah/praying.
salah and dua are the foundation of success

And then he is surprised. And he asks how is this even possible. To which Allah says, it is - for He created us when we were nothing!

"He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"
[An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' " [Quran 19:8-9]
    We pray 5 times, we start calling others Kafir and what not; when angels told Ibrahim a.s that we are gonna destroy ppl of loot coz of evil;
Ppl of Taqwa have 3 things: 1.Sound knowledge 2.Thinking/analyzing & using that sound knowledge to unleash their potential 3.Sound motive...

sound knowledge leads to sound thinking which leads to sound motives which leads to sound actions... if I don't have sound motives, I will spend in charity but will have pictures taken and publicize it... coz my motive is to show off (not sound), but sound motive leads to best actions with sincerity..
ppl teach u that u are independent, that is a lie, since birth to death u are 100% dependent. u are not individual either, u are dividual...

a mother won't eat without her son, coz he is a part of her.. she is not individual.
God wants u to understand u are dependent and dividual... ppl marry each other n they think they are independent n individual, and when that independence is harmed they become angry; if they understood that the spouse is the need of the other, they are divisual, they will sacrifice their selfish interests to be together.
for an average muslim, learning aqeedah is a waste of time, it will be much beneficial to learn Quran and increase the eeman and piety...

if aqeedah made difference, their amal would show. does surah asr not teach u that direct consequence of eeman is amal?
that doesn't mean aqeedah is bad, rather it was made in a certain context; to answer certain groups and if ppl still have those questions may be one aalim knowing aqeedah is enough in a country/city..
one of the things ibn taymiyyah teaches is that u come to quran to take from it not give to it.

and coz we have aqeedah in mind, we read it and see aqeedah in it and teach that way... not as is the intended message of quran..
when you learn aqeedah its like tricks and you think m in paradise and others are in hell, aqeedah makes you arrogant.. when eeman comes, it makes you to believe m not a good muslim, may be I go to fire and others are from ppl of paradise.

when eeman comes ppl like Abu Bakr r.a. say I wish i was a part of tree.. so m not accountable... aqeedah makes you to think you are responsible to a group.. and eeman makes you responsible to Allah s.w.t
this trend that every1 learns aqeedah is a bidah..
Aqeedah teaches you that which makes you in eye of society, a muslim... eeman makes you believer in sight of Allah s.w.t.
Man came to Abu Zur'a Ar-Razi and said, 'My friend told his wife if Abu Zur'a doesnt remember 100,000 ahadith by heart then u are divorced.'
If a hadith is NOT IN Bukhari or Muslim, practically, it can NEVER be 'sahih on the condition of Bukhari/Muslim' no matter who says it.

    Ws wr wb..
Ok so I probably got you wrong. You don't mean k if something that's not in Bukhari/Muslim can't be right? It can be, innit?
    badrobot14
    badrobot14
yes ofc it can be... it just can't be said k it is on the same level.. there are many sahih ahadith even imam bukhari narrates in his book al adab al mufrad and those are not in his sahih coz they dont fulfill his stringent conditions...
    badrobot14
    badrobot14
like for instance, there are teachers such as hasan al basri etc, who are sound/reliable narrators but they don't mention their immediate teachers, he might say abu Huraira r,a narrated so and so hadith omitting the person between him and abu huraira... so it is sound narration but doesn't satisfy imam bukhari's criteria of ittisaal; that chain should be connected with no missing link.
