LOL!!! sorry but I found the questn funny.. its what makes uni students' life miserable..
it is what tells u how much weightage a subject has in our semester.. one sem has many courses some have more credit hours meaning they have more periods allocated to them each week.. n they cost more towards our result..
so 3crdt hr subject has 3 periods per week.. while 2 crdt hr period has only 2 periods..

and if a holiday comes, the zaalim teachers take this as a best excuse to take extra classes...

nemo PEC ki taraf se requirement hoti hai k engineering ki degree lenai ke liye a student must take a specific number of hours ...e.g.this semester i have 19 credit hours... matlab aik week mein i have to take 19 classes...

Oh, I see... Tou basically classes hotein hain...? So y are they called 'credit' hours... Like these are extra classes or just the normal classes...?

haan normal classes hi hoti hai...actually credit defines ke kitna important hai yeh subject...e.g. islamiat 2 credit hour hai while programming 4 credit hour hai mera...tou jab hamarai grade bantai hai...hamara jou bhi grade point aa raha hota hai they multiply it with these credit hours...
