why is religion brought into this.. i mean ofc nothing wrong, we will have to face whatever we did now in afterlife.. but valentines day is nothing but a mere celebration with your loved ones?

Do u need a single day to express ur love for ur loved ones? Well I love my parents and my family whole my life and not just a single day! =/

Agree with salmanpakrocks..today whatever is done on this day..do you think it is allowed in Islam? Plus This is celebrated by other religion people...do they celebrate our occasions? Our Eid? No so why are Muslims doing it today?

thats my point exactly.. I mean love and all is haram itself, so why talk about valentines day specially..? its like the ones who talk like this accept that we should express love one particular day?

Love is NOT HARAM! Islam has given us choice in marriage to marry a person we like. UNDER-AGE and love without Nikkah is HARAM!

@aqeel: It's not a need - it's a want. Engaging in any such activity, just to satisfy wants, before marriage is Haraam and should not be practiced.
