well someone told me that taking subjects privately in pak vl decrease its importance like if i take 4 subjects privately in nov 2012.... will it do any bad???

Not in pak... everywhere... if your subjects' certificate doesn't have school's signature (meaning you are a private candidate) then less preference will be given when it comes to colleges/universities.

Giving them privately may be disadvantageous, but it's not like they'll ignore you totally. If your grades are awesome then they'd take you into notice for sure

An A* is an A*! It'll be somewhat like this:
A private candidate receives an A*.
A school candidate receives an A*.
A school candidate receives an A.
The school candidate with the A* may be preferred over the private candidate but the P candidate will still be above the school candidate with the A ;D

oh great then.... i vl take 4 papers in nov 12 privately nd then take 4 papers in jun 13 by skull...??? will that be ok?

Pretty much... although i'd recommend 3 papers in Nov 2012 as a private candidate (Urdu, Pak st and Isl) and then 5 papers as a school candidate in May 2013 (Eng, math, phy, chem and bio)

i was thinking to give chem and math privately in nov 12 nd then the rest 6 papers in may 13....(eng, urdu, pak std, isl, bio nd phy)

Because and A* in math is always better than an A* in Pak studies. Math is a main subject. Pak studies is required ONLY for universities in Pak so they don't deduct the extra marks (which they usually do with o lvl students)
