umm i dont really know about media studies much i am a sciences student.....no idea about salary also....but EXPERIENCE in any field eventually pays off good thats for sure....for aptitude test u can search on internet and see what exactly is the syllabus for different tests of different universities

and going abroad is a better idea since in pakistan nothing really pays off everytime all your hardwork in any field it sometimes just doesnt give you the return and thats not because of ur field its because of the worse situation of our country the economy the job opportunities e.t.c
