but I think, though I am not sure, that you had to prove it by alternate angles
as they were proven congruent you could show that the alternate angles were same and so they must be parallel too

seriously..was it the question or its orientation of the question,none of the ppl i asked on XPC said anything abt alt angles or corr angles...And it became ridiculously clear and easy afterwards that we had to do

.I wrote firstly by proving similarity(as all had done) and then importantly,for me, i wrote tht the triangles formed are by two diameters which are STRAIGHT(180 degree turn)LINES)tht exhibit a directly opposite turn(tht is of 180 degrees)
