If a child misbehaves with the mom, you say "she is your mother!" and that really is enough... you don't go proving how on earth did you come here, who changed ur nappies etc... similarly knowing Allah's favours and existence is deep in our conscious mind...

Alhamd = All praise AND thanks (coz if u give me water i thank u but Allah made the water n made it quench my thist so i Praise AND thank Him)

Rabb = is the nurturer, master, giver of gits etc.. just like mother is a relation, rabb is a relation too
ilaalameen = of the nations and ppl etc, interestingly alameen comes from alamah.. signs.. so everything around us

including us are a sign of HIM being rabb and hamd belonging to Him!

now relationships are at times based on expectations eg. a mother cares for you expecting that in old age you will help her too...
But reason this rabb made you and takes care of you is Rahmah/mercy!
Arrahman = is from fa'laan family means:

1. mercy that comes very quickly 2. its boiling over-whelming mercy 3. its strong, it can't be stopped, it has to come out!
now it might be that mercy is that strong but it can go away quickly?
so next attribute is
ArRaheem = on fa'eelun pattern; like kareemun is noble; now nobility doesnt go away with time.. so ArRaheem means he is consistently merciful!
