no, I haven't read this book... I kno he's christian... its just hard to explain but I do feel its all over the place... :) like a small example wd be his idea of right and wrong... or wht path to take in life.. feels sad to see him wandering in the dark.. all that is easy for us.
if you say its a good book, it must be good... n do read Al-Arifi's book.. inspirational stuff.

Ah... maybe because I've read only one book oh his, so I couldn't compare with the others he's written.
Yes, I will. Completing my UCAS applications first, then I'll read the book. :)

Thank you, sincerely. Prayers mean a lot. I've a bigger problem than my UCAS. Ask du'a for me please. You seem to be one of those Allah loves most. :)

and whtever the outcome accept the decree of Allah "..But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not." (2:216)

Thank you. I do make dua but rarely for myself. So, it's my grandma who asks for me. May Allah be pleased with her.
Yes, I know, though that doesn't stop us from trying. It's really hard to know what Allah really wants- you to attain your goal, or you, to walk another way through it. :)

Thank you Alpha. I meant, you mentioned the book. How does that relate to my question? You mean, reading = enjoying life? Something like that?

Aameen
I'm not against trying alpha, you try ur best to follow what seems good/right to you, and you make dua that O Allah keep me guided so I make right decisions for my deen and dunya.. but if after all ur efforts you don't get there, accept Allah's decree since He is The Wise.
n we don't need to know what Allah has decided for us... He knows it, that's enough.

That's why told you to read that book. It shows exactly, word to action, what you said.^

And yeah, no worries. This much, I do understand. :)
