I tell you what... they say music is the food for soul.. to be honest I found out music is the junk food for soul.. Quran is the real food for soul.. ppl that listen to music, many times their heart becomes hard.. so much that they can't even cry b4 Allah in salah and sajdah..

I am somewhere in the middle......i haven't listened to music since Ramadan n i'm not even thinking of listening to any of it but i'm just not admitting that i've' given up music completely' cz i'm afraid if i listen to it again in the future, it will be a greater sin :(

Iridescent Alhamdulillah, that's great..!! keep it up plz.. and tell urself "I HAVE GIVEN UP MUSIC COMPLETELY".. Allah mentions ppl of jannah "And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know."(3:135)
