no it's not stupid; sometimes we are sad, when that happens try praying salah.. u know if Prophet (S.A.W) had something troubling him, he'd rush to salah..
and we are nothing but to some ppl (like parents) we mean a lot.. plus if we are righteous, patient etc. then we can hope that Allah loves us too.. increasing our self-worth! :)
