nah, my students are cool wid me.... actually I keep asking them, if u r bored I can stop.. or I keep doing some funny stuff or keep asking questions to so they're engaged in lecture...
I have had students who wd tell me give whole exrcise in H.W and I'd tell em that's too much... and decrease their load... whn u r a student urself you feel for ur own students..

yes, usually, or I tell them only till here then we go.. coz whn there is light at end of tunnel it's easy to b patient... plus I teach big kids.. so usually they understand that we have to study.. better learn here than the school teacher. so it's rare for them to say we're bored.

big kids are kids above grade 8.. although I've taught kids smaller than that here n there...

hahaha.. scary..? nah I don't go scary when I can get things done by being nice... yeah but I know all the scary techniques.. the best for guys is to punish and for girls to change seats OR to stop the chutti!
Plus if the class is getting out of hands then the teacher can make an example out of one kid so rest becum straight.. BUT I've NEVER had to use any of these scary stuff.
