good question.. sorry.. mandi means marketplace.. commonly we use it to refer to place where animals are sold for sacrifice...
you don't have that luxury in many countries....

yes.. Haseefa see, sabzi mandi = vegetable market (frm whr the whole city's vegetables r sent; wholesale) and I was reffereing to gaeey mandi = cow market...

another thing I love about muslim countries is the azan and the fact that u can get even ur chicken slaughtered in front of u.. compared to a non-muslim country I've been to.. that's so good... ppl don't value the little things that are a blessing in a muslim country.. despite the corruption n stuff...

ikr...go out n pray anywhere around; u hear the azan numerous times a day (as u mentioned) ....eat anything u feel like (I mean, unlike non-Muslim countries where you've to check n search for Halal things...lot more....!!
u won't have any problem keeping a beard or wearing a hijab...!!

normally u don't hear azan out loud 5 times in non-muslim countries... but here u get that call...

I live in a non muslim country, Alhamdulillah, except for being careful about Halal things, not much of restrictions.. no problem here with hijab or beard..

Haseefa then u r lucky.. Alhamdulillah.. coz at least in west.. it is bit of a challenge being a proud muslim.. but it is also an opportunity, coz u can do dawah!
