No one can be a better friend to himself because he will truely want the best for himself. But he can also be his worst enemy because the only thing that hinders us, is us.
He becomes his worst friend if his self leans towards self-sacrifice. And his best enemy, if his weaknesses make him push forward to overcome him, and hence improve him beyond his capacity.
