Physics AS Unit 1

In the boat question, after the modification made by the student (that the fan should not be directed to the sail), will the boat move after this? Another problem i had was that in the last question whether the air disc would hit the fly and i coudnt show it. :(

I had two problems in the marble statue question....first the assumption i have made in calculating the height of the statue. Second : Why should the conductor be taller than the statue? :(
