Yeah I guess you are right about the two. However, I don't remember that broken filament question. Anyways which option did you choose in P1 question 30 summer 2003? This question appeared in our exam as well.

    Physics P1 and P2 Discussions

Okay, firstly change in gravitational energy would occur to the truck and the sand. Initially they are at the ground, i.e zero G.P and as they move up, both the sand and truck would possess max GP. This would be described as the change in G.P so 7500000 should have been the answer. Other than...

Quite frankly this is bullshit, nah I'm just kidding :D That question with GP is something I'm confused about. Your ideology seems alright but I'll stick to my answer, i.e 7500000. I attempted the other questions similarly. However, my energy changes in the last question mentioned contradict yours.

    Biology Paper 1

The answer was A, i.e reduction in sea level. Global warming causes rise in sea level so it was not an effect of global warming.

    SOCIOLOGY!

Sociology is a subject associated with your common sense, the most general subject and the easiest indeed. I would recommend you to start from the first chapter, "The Introduction" and focus a lot on the second chapter, i.e sociological methods (This chapter carries the highest marks in exams)...

In that question, maximum temperature was asked so it was 29.2. We had to read temperature rise from the graph and add 25 to it :)

No, they don't move randomly. Yes, you must have read that in physics that heat energy is transferred by random movement of electrons making them good thermal conductors. However, I believe this theory may not apply to chemistry according to the book. I may be wrong but I guess, the direction...

It is specified in the book endorsed by cambridge that only electrons move. Positive charges remain at their location. Hence, electrons would move carrying the heat and in one direction :)
