Do I have chance to get A in alevel

As far as I know you can even get A* in A Levels, the A* is totally based on how you do in your A2 papers and if you score more than 90% the A* is yours.

Need a Higher grade ( first time on the forum)

Firstly why are you taking English AS Level? I think you only need it for English literature, no other field really needs English to be studied in AS or A Level, just an average score in TOFEL or IELTS is enough to fill the English Language requirement and trust me they are a lot easier than AS...

    A-level chemistry help !

The only problem with Organic Chemistry is that it has a lot of reactions with huge mechanisms and you have to memorize them. Just try to solve as many papers as you can, and best just memorize those reactions somehow because at this level its too hard to make sense out of those reactions.

pls, can someone tell me why the melting point of graphite is higher than that of diamond?

The melting point of graphite is slightly higher than the melting point of diamond because in graphite C-C bonds have partial double bond character and hence are stronger and difficult to break. In factor, carbon as graphite has the highest melting point among all the elements. Most of the other...

Lol you don't really need to do so many practicals to pull an A* off. The practicals are very easy just try to understand them. In your situation, what you can do is ask some school to let you in the practical classes but I don't think they will so just buy some practical apparatus at home, its...

doin A level in One year

I would never recommend someone to give A-Level in 1 year. First of all its not like O-Level, its a lot harder and involves practical work. In 1 year, first no school will teach you all that in 1 year and if you study at home then you probably can't practice and learn practicals at home. If...

    Tips for Chemistry Practicals (P3)

Just keep you mind cool and read everything on the paper, mostly students just don't read long paragraphs of text carefully. Practicals are not that hard so try to score most here, the best solution to this is try as many practicals as many possible. Don't perform unnecessary titrations, if you...

should i take the AS exams in my first year of A-levels ?

I would recommend you to take them in the first year. I didn't and I know now how much easier my life would have been by giving AS. If you plan to give it together then just remember that you'll have to give 4 to 5 papers in 1 session and that's not easy because many of them will be on the same day.
