Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

Are you sure it's not the positive? Cause I've seen it drawn right next to the smaller line of the battery terminal quite a number of times

Could someone write some points for physics...I'm so unnerved right now it's not even funny :|

    Question relating to today's ATP

Yeah I know but will my marks be deducted if I wrote the complete experiments? My answers even eent over the length of the box :/

Could someone explain both the parts of a to me?

    Question relating to today's ATP

The oxygen test was the glowing splint one na? I wrote complete experiments for all the gases and hence wrote the phosphorous and inverted test tube in beaker of water one :/ i know that they'll penalise me for the oxygen test but will thru cut marks if I wrote experiments instead of just tests??

It's used to smoother and provide a continuous supply of dc current as effected by a diode

Biology; Chemistry; Physics: Post your doubts here!

It allows a smooth current to flow through the circuit...without any surges\pulses or breaks. It collects and stores charges, supplying or taking them from the circuit if there's an irregular flow of current in the circuit

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

But what does that have to do with anything? The highlight of the question was the key term 'uncurled'..makes sense too. The question was probably asking us to compare the growth of the two seedlings on the basis of their linear length...why would it ask us to measure the height\ horizontal...

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

What rule of mathematics? :p uncurl means to make something straight...so the uncurled length would be measured on the assumption that the length was straight, so you measure the curled parts of the radicle with a ruler but by bit, and add up the total length...no? :/

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

According to an experiment, this is what the uncurled length is supposed to be :S

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

Wouldn't that be the height then?

But listen, how did u measure the lengths?

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

They won't deduct your marks as long as you stated the unit in your answer

    Question relating to today's ATP

How'd u guys measure the uncurled lengths? :S

    Question relating to today's ATP

My drawing was 2 mm less than the vertical length. It was exactly 14 while the parallel length was 7.1 (I think). I don't understand how I got 8.4 cm for the epigeal seedling :s was it extremely curled? :S
  19. S

Biology ATP Paper 62/ Uncurled length.

The uncurled length is the straight length. So I think we had to measure the length along the seedling, including the curled part, assuming that it were straight. That's what I did, and I got 84 mm and 78 mm :S
