    Sorry for the late reply but I doubt that you could prepare for that entire syllabus in one day, friend. However your best option would be to read the related questions from past papers and their marking schemes. If you've gone through the syllabus at least once you'll just need the key points...

    You don't need to buy past papers. Simply get the question paper off the internet, solve it and check with the marking scheme. Redspot covers one possible answer out of many different variations, so it is unreliable.

    Alpines are at high altitudes, yes. Furthermore alpines have very few leaves all over the trunk and coniferous trees have leaves on the top most parts. Spend 5 minutes on google searching for alpine and coniferous forests. 90% chance that they were coniferous.

    Well, the instructions on the front page said 'Candidates answer on the question paper' so technically you weren't meant to receive any of them. However in the end we were told that the British Council allowed it hence you should've been allowed and if you weren't, take it up to the British Council.
