Here's the first part. I have skipped the detail of finding the angles. I hope you get that. And I'll post the second part soon.

Old vs New Past Papers ?

Obviously, the new ones. But if you want something more challenging then the old ones were more difficult.

statistics 2: post your doubts and solve mine! lol

Find mean of 5ml. 16*5=80 a) You need poission to normal approximation where the mean is 80 and variance is also equal to 80. First do continuity correction: P(65<=x<=85) is corrected to P(64.5<x<85.5) Now use the mean and variance to adjust these values and look up the normal distribution...

statistics 2: post your doubts and solve mine! lol

mean for 70 times= 70*3.5. variance=70*35/12 Use SD and Mean to get probability from the normal distribution table.

Error Bars in Paper 5 Physics 9702

The no. of significant figures vary from paper to paper. Just check out the marking schemes. Some of them mention the no. of significant figures for both the calculated value and the error. The no. of SF are either equal to the value you made your calculations from or one more than it. And you...

That's because CIEs have the same pattern as that of the past papers. If you do the same thing for 3 years, then it's not a problem doing it at the end. Plus, you are more determined in the finals because you know that it is the only thing that matters.

Technical name? :O :P No idea. Pick up the Crawford book and you'll find out. I haven't seen another such question in the past papers. Yeah! I am.

Further Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

The only reason you can't do this question is because you must not be aware of a simple concept. The marking scheme has combined the two datas into a single data. The concept to remember is that when Y=1.02X-1.04Z, the E(1.02X-1.04Z) will be equal to 1.02E(X)-1.04E(Z). But Variance(aX-bZ) will...
