    HCl is a monobasic acid... so options of sulphuric acid (its dibasic) and NaOH (alkali) are out... ethanoic acid is a weak acid so it will not undergo too much dissociation like HCl... thus only nitric acid is possible as it is monobasic and strong and thus the concentration of H+ ions will be...
