    Q22- E=F*l/A*extension A= (2.5*10^-4)^2 * pi then substituting all values find l/extension. then find its reciprocal. then *100 to get %. Q26- d=1/N. N=300000 per m 1/N=n*lambda n will be 7 then times 2 u get 15 :)

the qstns i anwered in the other post. For the image last question - 1st find the current. total R=7.5 then 2/7.5=0.26A. as it is parallel circuit current gets divided so 0.26/2=0.13 or 2/15 for easier calculation. then find V across X. V=IR = (2/15)*5 = 2/3V then find V across Y. (2/15)*10 =...

Q16- phosphate and hydrophilic head occupies less space. Hydrocarbon chains are large and have a chain structure. Q29- xylem is dead. heating will not affect it. only phloem will get affected. Q30- xylem will be affected 1st. water moves through xylem and its the appoplast pathway. so if fungi...

Tips to get A* in A'levels

Thats if you get really low in those papers or score the minimum value of an A in individual papers. I know many people who achieved an overall A* even after getting an E in P3 or P5 and some haplessly got U but still managed to attain an A*. Thats why i mentioned doing extremely well in P2 and P4

AS/A2 bio phys chem doubts? Post and I will answer ASAP :D

we expected the ratio to be 1:3. 40+72=112 total offsprings. so according to the ratio we expected 28:84 offsprings

For Q11 - for A XYn-->X + nY there are n X-Y bonds in the molecule. Enthalpy change is the energy needed to break these n bonds. They all break and form atoms of X and Y. So dividing the enthalpy by n we get the energy for one bond.

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

because when the double bond broke, the C was bonded to only one other C and one H and double bonded to an O which is a CHO group of aldehyde. Always just join an O atom whenever u break a double bond using KMnO4. then check if the C is bonded to 1 or 2 other C. If its bonded to 1 C then make an...

P1 MCQ's preparation thread for chemistry ONLY!!!!

Q1- P is 2k and Q is k. For the same force applied, P will have extension of 2X and Q will have extension X (as k and extension are directly proportional when F is constant) so work done=Force*distance. they have same force so for P work done=F*2X and Q=F*X. hence work done by P will be twice of...

Q14- A because max height means it covered half the distance so the energy also gets halved. Q16- C. first find input power. output/input *100=efficiency. so 400000000/80=5MW then find I using P=IV, 5MW/25kV=200A Q21- find the area under the graph. Make it a triangle 1st...

Chemistry and Physics AS paper 12 MCQS

Q24- X is not a hydrocarbon as hydrocarbons dont react with PCl5. X can either be acid or alcohol but we cant still distinguish which one it is. X is not an aldehyde for sure as X does not react with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydraxine. So we cant be sure whether its an alcohol or acid but we can say...

A and B have H-bonds as well. In D Vander Waals forces are becoming stronger as its solidifiacation. In C there are only Vander Waals forces and its melting so the bonds need to be overcome.

Q2- if it had constanr acceleration it would keep going up and wouldnt come down. Q8- F=ma so a=F/m F and m are constant so a will also be constant. Q11- mercury is denser than water so it wont move much so h will be less :)
