    Physics results AS-> a . A2-> C What happened?

    I got my results yesterday and I got frightened for my physics result. I was getting "a" for my AS level but then for the final grade I got C. how could this happen? I mean I've put a lot of work on my A2 physics and I thought the final grade was either A or A*. I know A2 is harder but the paper...

    CHEMISTRY 53. How was it??

    Decreasing the volume of gas "Without" decreasing the volume of container is possible (Eg. Turning the container partially vacuum) I'm quite sure they said that the container is at fixed volume during compression and the number of gas molecules are to be varied.

    CHEMISTRY 53. How was it??

    Hmm, but if you think about it, they ask what is the effect of pressure when "Volume of (gas)" decreases [Not container]. So, the answer should be when volume of gas decreases in a 'fixed container', the pressure should decrease too because there's less molecules colliding the container walls...

    Chemistry 43!!! How was it?!!

    That's what I thought, they also said that this would react with 2,4-dnph, so it could be carbonyl, but ketone can't oxidize further, narrowing down the results, it could be aldehyde group.

    This is the compound that I roughly drawn,

    Chemistry 43!!! How was it?!!

    What was the organic compound with 20+ carbons? I can't remember. -The compound I drawn was 2 ketone groups, with 2 ester bonding, with 2 aryl group all attached together. -The compound name start with 'c' Can anyone guess or remember?

    Chemistry 43!!! How was it?!!

    I find that May June is more about memorizing, I guess memorizing is difficult? but for me I'm more okay with memorizing. NOTE: I found something suspicious, the MJ 41/2011 paper is similar to what OCT NOV paper set.

    Chemistry 43!!! How was it?!!

    Based on past gt, for paper 4, Grades to get A, May June, -2007 -> 64 -2008 -> 65 -2009 -> 65 -2010 -> 54 -2011 -> 59 -2012 -> 55 OCT NOV, -2007 -> 65 -2008 -> 67 -2009 -> 64 -2010 -> 59 -2011 -> 69 gt for OCT NOV 2012 could be around 60<A<65 based on the difficulty of MJ 2012 paper and OCT...

    Chemistry 43!!! How was it?!!

    The paper was difficult, in organic section most of the A2 stuff doesn't come out, but its easy for section B though
