CIE A Level Grade A*

I've heard that you need an A grade in each componenet paper to score an A*.Is that true?and @trgirl i had straight A*s in O Level.stick to your syllabus,do the past papers within the time limit given.if you have plenty of time before the exams,then revise each topic,do the topical past papers...
