    Here's a question for you guys: A quadratic equation x^2 + bx + c has two real roots which may be distinct or equal. Denoting these roots by r and m, prove that r^(2^n) + m^(2^n) is a polynomial of c in degree 2^(n-1) with leading coefficient 2.
