    I studied the complete standard A level maths in one year and futher maths in the other. But I wrote exams in June and now in November. Like I said you should look at your workload and plan accordingly.

    x heY. I would say try fitting in the two modules during the first year. But this will, however, depend on your current and future workloads. The most important thing is to plan, plan and plan!

    Which mathematics should I take for AS level ?

    In my honest opinion, P3 is the only unit that reeaallly prepares you for varsity - the other work you can pick up as you go on... S1 M1 for me was the easiest option because I had to go through both S2 M2 for the further maths.

    I did further maths without a strong background in maths before hand. It would really depend on how long you plan on studying and your math ability. Futher maths will screw you ten times over if you don't know what your doing! My friend who will be studying mechanical engineering wrote maths...
