I got 5/12, no idea if it's right though, that question totally threw me.

Sorry for late reply, had to dash to hospital - family emergency. D: Yeah, there was 7 questions, and I think question 7 was about 12 marks? I remember the Venn diagram was definitely 4 on it's own.

How did you find the exam? I thought there were a few dodgy questions but overall okay.

You could work out u1 by using u2 and working backwards. What would x have to be for 2x - 1 = 9? 5.

Haha, let's hope it's -2 then! I think we've analysed every bit of the paper now haha. As long as I get more than 83 UMS (what I got last time) I'll be happy - even if it's only 84!

    I think my inequality was -2 < x < 6, haha. Oooops again.

Also, someone on twitter said there had been a misprint on the discriminant question? They said it said there was 2 roots but then wrote < 0. Am I right in saying you had to begin with b^2-4ac > 0 then change the signs of the equation to get it < 0?

I got more or less the same, except for Q1 and finding Q on the final question. Hopefully won't have dropped too many marks. D:

Oooh I remember! I'm thinking of an earlier question I think. I can't really remember what I got, but I differentiated it back and got the original equation (but obviously that wouldn't have checked my c).

That looks familiar, maybe I'm thinking of another question! Or I just equated it wrong, oh well. :c Which question # was that?

Haha wooops I got a fraction for that! Oh dear. D: I always get c wrong.

For the second question, what did you get?! I had no idea how to do it and just battled through it any way I could, 99% sure I was wrong though.

Oh my God, how can you do so many exams?! I only have 4 in total (C1, S1, M1 & Accounts) and I don't even have enough time for those! Good luck. D: For maths I just do past papers and hope for the best lol :( I find I make more mistakes in C1 because I do view it as "easy" and do it quickly...

    A Level. I sat C1, C2 and S1 in May last year and got a B in S1, a low A in C1 and an A in C2, so retaking S1 and C1. I have M1 in a week and C3/4 in June.
