    You would Lose each accuracy mark, but would still get each method mark, so you'd lose another 2 on top of part A (I think) Could you read above what I did for q1 and see if I'd get any credit?

    For question one, if you did -x(2x-1)(2x+1) rather than x(1-2x)(2x+1) would you get any marks? As they are both equivalent really? But I know it is better do give the answer with x bein positive :/ would I get any marks at all as it expands to the same thing, and shows I recognised it was DOTS!

    If for question one on C1, I took -x out of the brackets so I ended up with -x(2x-1)(2x+1) would I get any marks? Cos it does expand to give the right answer, but I realise now that the best way to do it would be to take x out, not -x :/ I recognised that it was DOTS, just went for what I...
