SKIPPING AN EXAM

hey! i just wanted to know what happens if you skip the entire exams of a subject...like if i dont give both the papers of further maths! i asked my headmistress , she said that my provisional/statement of results would say ABSENT but my FINAL certificate wouldnt even say that...on the final...

ANY HELP? GUESS PAPER FOR THIS YEAR...like the expected syllabus areas that might be focused on?? and any good site or something with good tips on how to solve the paperS???? im so confused~
